content details

focuses on the R&D, production and sales of mining classification and separation equipment, with hydraulic cyclones and cyclone group series as its main products. Based on the principle of centrifugal sedimentation, the equipment realizes pulp classification, desliming, concentration, desanding and heavy medium recovery. Its core lining is made of high wear-resistant polyurethane material, featuring high classification accuracy, wear and erosion resistance, no power consumption, and simple operation and maintenance. It is widely used in metal ore dressing, sand and gravel classification, tailings dry discharge, coal heavy medium separation and other scenarios, and is the core classification equipment in the wet process of mining industry.

1. Working Principle of Hydrocyclone

A hydrocyclone accomplishes material separation by relying on the principle of centrifugal sedimentation: ore pulp enters the cylinder tangentially along the cyclone at a certain pressure. Under the combined action of centrifugal force and gravity, coarse particles and dense medium materials move downward along the inner wall of the cone and are discharged from the underflow outlet; fine particles and light materials move upward with the internal swirling flow and are discharged from the overflow outlet, thus achieving process objectives such as size classification, solid-liquid separation, desliming and concentration.

II. Product Structure and Composition

  1. Cylinder section: Composed of a cylinder plus a cone, it is the core working area for centrifugal classification.

  2. Feed inlet: Tangential feeding structure ensures stable cyclone flow of ore pulp and higher classification efficiency.

  3. Overflow port / overflow pipe: Discharges fine particle pulp, and its size can adjust the classification granularity as required.

  4. Underflow port: Discharges coarse-grained materials, made of wear-resistant material, resistant to scouring and not easy to wear

  5. Lining structure: High-wear-resistant polyurethane integral lining protects the metal shell and extends its service life.

  6. Flange and fasteners: Standardized connection, easy installation, suitable for pipelines and cyclone group frames

III. Main Product Types

  1. Classified by usage function

    • Classification hydrocyclone: Used for classifying coarse and fine particles in ore grinding circuits to achieve closed-circuit grinding.

    • Desliming cyclone: Removes fine mud impurities from ore pulp and improves the grade of concentrate

    • Concentration cyclone: Concentrates and dewaters tailings slurry to reduce moisture content

    • Heavy medium cyclone: Used for heavy medium separation of coal and ores to recover dense medium.

    • Desanding cyclone: Removes coarse sand particles from ore pulp and sewage, protecting subsequent equipment

  2. Classified by combination form

    • Single hydrocyclone: Suitable for small flow rate and simple classification working conditions

    • Cyclone group: Installed in parallel combination of multiple units to meet the demand for large flow and large-scale production

  3. Classified by lining material

    • Polyurethane-lined hydrocyclone: wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant, suitable for conventional slurry working conditions in mines

    • Wear-resistant ceramic lined hydrocyclone: Suitable for high-hardness, highly abrasive coarse-grained materials

IV. Product Performance Characteristics

  1. High classification efficiency and precise particle size control

The centrifugal force field has high strength, the separation of coarse and fine particles is thorough, and the classification particle size can be flexibly adjusted through the overflow port and the underflow port.

  2. High wear-resistant lining for long service life

It adopts an integrally cast polyurethane lining with high elasticity and wear resistance, which resists slurry scouring and corrosion, and is far superior to cast iron materials.

  3. Simple structure with no moving parts

No driving components such as motors and bearings, extremely low failure rate, and stable and reliable operation.

  4. Large processing capacity and small floor space

Strong single-unit processing capacity; the cyclone group adopts modular combination, featuring small floor area and flexible layout.

  5. No power consumption and low operating cost

It only relies on pump pressure for feeding, requires no additional power, has low energy consumption, and the overall operation and maintenance costs are economical.

  6. Easy to install and maintain

The only vulnerable parts are the lining and the nozzles, which are easy to replace without the need for complex tools or shutdown and modification.

V. Scope of Application

  • Applicable industries: Mineral processing of metal mines, classification of sand and stone aggregates, coal washing and dressing, tailings dewatering and discharge, environmental protection sewage treatment, chemical slurry treatment

  • Applicable processes: Grinding and classification, tailings desliming, pulp thickening, dense medium recovery, mud desanding, fine material separation

  • Applicable media: Various ore pulp, sand and gravel slurry, tailings slurry, dense medium suspension, solid-containing industrial sewage

VI. Standard Product Specifications (Custom Non-standard Sizes Available)

  • Nominal diameter: Φ50mm~Φ660mm

  • Processing flow rate: customized according to the cyclone specifications and feed pressure

  • Lining material: High wear-resistant polyurethane, wear-resistant ceramic

  • Combination form: Single unit, 2-unit/4-unit/6-unit/8-unit and above cyclone groups

  • Installation method: Vertical fixed installation, frame-type integrated installation

VII. Core Advantages of Hainan Sikejia Mining Equipment

  1. Special Design for Mining Conditions

The structure is optimized to address the characteristics of strong abrasiveness and large concentration fluctuations of the pulp, resulting in more prominent classification accuracy and stability
